Q: HOW DO I BOOK ONTO VT 2023?
A: Step 1, Buy your UBSC membership from the SU website.
Step 2, speed up your booking on the day and avoid stress by creating a Wasteland account now.
Step 3, buy your ticket on the booking page this on November 3rd. Then sit back and look forward to Easter 2023! ***Be quick - tickets usually sell out within the hour!

Q: I MISSED THE ORIGINAL TICKET RELEASE. WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW?
We’re sorry to hear about this! Please join the official waiting list for the trip. We require a £100 deposit which will be refundable if we are unable to find you a ticket. This waiting list will go LIVE immediately after Trip sells out on November 1st.
Q: DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE TRIP IN FULL?
A: No, 0% interest payment plans are available.

Q: WHEN AND WHERE IS SKI TRIP 2023?

A: The dates for this year’s trip are 24th March - 1st April. The trip is going to be in Val Thorens (VT) a place that has hosted some mega UBSC trips in the past!!
Q: WHAT DOES THE COST OF THE TIRP INCLUDE?
The trip price includes 6 nights of accommodation, lift passes and your UBSC FESTIVAL WRISTBAND. If you require ski/board equipment hire, this will be an extra cost depending on the level of kit you want. If you're wanting to take lessons, you will also be able to book onto those later.
Q: WHAT DOES MY FESTIVAL WRISTBAND INCLUDE?
A: Your wristband includes entry to Apres EVERY DAY, and our ‘Bristol Snow Presents’ Arena Nights and showstopping closing party. It also includes entrance to all bars and clubs throughout the week.
Q: I’M NOT A UOB STUDENT. CAN I COME? OR CAN I BRING A FRIEND WITH ME?
A: Yes, you or your friend will need to log in to the Bristol SU website as a guest and purchase a UBSC membership and then buy a ticket – same as everyone else.
Q: WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS ON TRIP?
A: We’re keeping tight lipped on the lineup and schedule for now. But expect snow park parties, huge outdoor apres, world class DJs and live acts, big nights out, a meal at the top of the mountain and loads of new surprises...
Q: WHO ARE WASTELAND SKI?
A: Wasteland are our trip operator. Putting on a trip this big is a mammoth task so Ella (UBSC trips manager), the rest of committee and Wasteland work together to plan and run it. We have developed a great relationship with Wasteland over a number of years so expect this trip to set the benchmark and be BIGGER and BETTER than anything we’ve done before!!
Q: I’M A BEGINNER. CAN I COME?
A: Absolutely! And you’re welcome to come along to our coached beginner sessions to improve your skills. Email our Beginners Rep Alex at beginners@ubsc.co.uk to find out more. Our first beginner package starts on Monday 21st October and runs for 5 weeks. Don't worry, you can still sign up! There are also lessons for sale on Trip. Check the upgrades and extras on the booking page.

TRAVEL
Q: HOW DO YOU TRAVEL THERE?
A: You can choose to travel either by coach or by plane. If you're lucky enough to be in the Alps already then no need to select transport.

CAN I TRAVEL WITH MY FRIENDS?
Coaches are allocated based on the room booking system. You must travel on the coach to which you are allocated by Wasteland.
WHEN DO I FIND OUT MY DEPARTURE INFORMATION?
All final travel information will be sent to you via email at least a week prior to the trip.
CAN I CHOOSE WHERE I GET PICKED UP AND DROPPED OFF?
Yes. You can choose between Bristol or London as pick up/drop off locations.
CAN I ORGANISE MY OWN TRANSPORT?
Yes. We also offer excellent value transfers to the resort from the airport if you organise your own flights.
Q: CAN I TAKE MY OWN EQUIPMENT ON THE BUS?
A: Yep! The own equipment carriage fee is £10. Otherwise, the normal bus luggage allowance is 1x suitcase and 1x piece of hand luggage. If you're flying, you will have to respect the airlines baggage limits
